at what point - will PayPal trust a business? Like, is there a certain number of transactions we need? a certain sales dollar amount? number of years been active? I ask, because it's very strange that one non-US non-verified PayPal customer can dispute any transaction at anytime and the business is presumed guilty immediately.  And even with a tracking number and proof of delivery - and the business is still out the money for up to 90 days. PayPal Offers ZERO Seller Protection

Been with PayPal a little over two (2) years and recently had a customer falsely dispute their transaction. My first dispute in about 250+ transactions. I provided everything to PayPal. Tracking. Proof of Delivery. At one point PayPal gave me the money after investigating the false dispute -- but then took it away the next day ($-3,000.00) because the customer is now disputing it at his foreign bank. It will take 90 days for a decision to be made. 90 days.   So to be clear, the customer now has the product and the money - thanks to PayPal's non-existent Seller Protection. I'll eventually be vindicated in 90 days if the bank also agrees --- but I'm cash poor now. Messes up my Cash Flow completely. Absolutely disgusted with PayPal. I have no faith in being a customer with PayPal if this can happen with just one dispute. I spoke with several people at PayPal over the course of several weeks trying to get this resolved. At no point did any PayPal employee offer the Chargeback Protection service. I had to read about it. Some PayPal customer support reps didnt even know about it. I am leaving PayPal for good.  ... PayPal is asking for Personal Data on someone else...

I recently completed a PayPal transaction - I sent money to my buddy. In my transaction, I mentioned another persons name in the Notes section of the transaction so we could remember (later) what this donation was for. It's a personal note, third party name. PayPal sent me a notification that the transaction is "on hold" until we supply the birth date of this random person in my notes. WTF???? This doesn't make any sense and I cant get anyone on the phone.... ... View more
