Hi  @mborjap ,    In Colombia, Pagos Internacionales is handling the local bank withdrawals for PayPal since November 2019.   Please note that registration is required on the first withdrawal, and renewed every 12 months.   If the recipient is an individual, they need to provide one of the following: a copy of Cedula, or Cedula for foreigners, copy of passport or Colombia govt issued ID   You can only link a local bank that accepts the local currency.   I hope this info helps.   Kind regards, Avi   ... Hi @Dhatton83,   I would like to give you a bit of information about what is happening in the background and I'm realizing that this is far from a satisfactory outcome for you.   When you buy from a merchant, an order and a pending authorization agreement for the payment are created with the merchant, and the funds are then being held. Sometimes, there can be a glitch, and orders aren't received, the payment fails or the merchant voids/cancels the order, but nevertheless, the Pending authorization still stands until it expires. This can take up to 30 days and the funds will then be released.   Please check your PayPal activity and your bank account activity, you'd likely see a transaction marked as a Temporary Authorization until the merchant captures payment.   PayPal cannot cancel authorizations. Authorizations will expire and remove from your account and the funds will then be released if the funds aren't captured by the merchant.   If the Pending transaction is marked as "complete", then you can dispute it on PayPal.   On this forum we can't share personal information, if you'd like specific information about your transaction, I would recommend you to go to www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/contact-us and use the Message us option.   Thanks, Avi     ... Hi @Factorymags    I'm sorry you're having to go back and forth with this issue!   I can see that you've already tried chatting with one of our agents - this should have been resolved by a more thorough investigation with the agent after verifying your identity.   Unfortunately, here on the forum, we can't include any identifying details and I have no way to provide you with an email address.   I would suggest that you ask the seller why they are requesting SSN & Tax ID in order to receive a payment and since you've used this service as a seller, you know that this isn't mandatory.   Thanks, Avi ... Hi @Factorymags ,   Thanks for the post.   From the general information you've provided, we can't be sure because we don't know what site you've attempted the purchase on. That said, I don't recall the system doing that ever during checkout, PayPal would normally just decline the payment and then you would contact us and we would check your account to see if the system needs further validation after confirming your identity.   Overall, what you've described does sound like odd behavior. If you'll provide the vendor's name, we could try to duplicate the process.   The correct approach would be to contact us so we can check your account and look at the payment attempt/activity log to see what exactly happened.   Thanks, Avi ... Hi @elledeegee    You can only cancel a pending payment that has a "Cancel" link next to it in your Activity.   Please review this FAQ for more details - https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/can-i-cancel-a-paypal-payment--faq637   If two charges went through, you’ll need to contact the recipient and request a refund.   Here’s how to request a refund. On the Summary page locate your transaction or click Activity if the payment is older. Click the transaction to find your recipient's contact information.
