How do I add money to my PayPal balance?   For gaining a better idea what caused your balance to go negative, you can download a report showing your current balance and the balance you had on a specific date:    Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log into your account. Click Activity near the top of the page. Click Statements in the top right corner. Choose "Activity Export." Select the relevant Date Range. Select one of the file types for download. Hi @harryelliott,   17 characters long sequence does correspond to the length of PayPal transaction IDs.   When someone sends you money, you'll get an email notifying you about the payment.   This email will normally be sent to the email address that you've used to open your PayPal account.   Another way to view your received funds (and the corresponding PayPal transaction ID) is by logging into your PayPal account and looking at the recent transactions or by clicking the 'Activity' tab at the top of the page and clicking on the relevant transaction.   Please review this FAQ as it might also help you in locating the transaction: How do I download my PayPal transaction history?   You can reply to this message with more details.   Thanks, Avi     ... Hi @Sakib1111,   There might be a number of reasons for this issue.   1. There's a limitation on your account - please check How can I remove sending, receiving and withdrawal limits? 2. This might be a temporary issue and will resolve without you having to anything - just try again in 24 hours. 3. There might be an issue with your bank account details. Make sure that that the details you've entered into your PayPal account match exactly the details held by your bank. Hi @Dave541,   Thank you for your question.   It's not entirely clear if the issue is with your recipient's withdrawal to their credit card or with their PayPal account.   On the face of it, this sounds like a delay with a withdrawal to the credit card. If your transfer has completed successfully and you can see it in your PayPal accounts Activity page with a status of 'Completed,' I would say that the issue isn't on your end.   You can recommend your recipient to contact PayPal or have a look at these FAQ: All about transfers   You didn't mention where your recipient is located.
