Same here. I just got two identical e-mails that only differed in the sender name given in the e-mail text. The URL behind the 'Pay Now' button would create a payment transaction when you click the button. If you agree to that transaction your money is gone. If you do not click on PayNow and instead login in to PayPal without any links from the Scam e-mail you will find that there are no transactions pending. ... View more

PLEASE DO NOT USE PAYPAL FOR CRYPTO RELATED ACTIVITIES! I attempted to transfer bitcoin to external wallet and feel like I got scammed like everyone else in this thread. Costumer representative said to give it 72 hours and then try again which is bs. I used coin base afterwards and the transfers were immediate when using my debit card. Do yourself a favor and do not even try with PayPal. I regret my decision and feel bad for not doing a research prior to using it. ... View more

I've just had this, middlesbrough mdb uk again (I'm in Yorkshire) and it's now December 2024, I would have thought it would have been sorted out by now as it is really worrying.
