I think kernowlass is correct because if we actually closed your PayPal account, you wouldn't be able to use it to log into the PayPal Community Forums. Most likely, your account has been limited which means that it is still open but unable to perform certain tasks. Limitations most often occur if there are security concerns, if we need to verify your identity, or if we believe that our User Agreement may have been violated in some way. If you are having difficulties resolving the limitation in the Resolution Center or need assistance, please contact our customer support directly so they can look into this with you.
