This smacks of scamming to me, no way do you give any personal details toanyone you purchase from, It sounds like they may use your driving license details for fraud.  You never have to close a case in order to get your money back, once a case is closed there is no going back to it. This might be a case for the police. I suggest you talk to EBay live chat immediately and tell them the details or phone them. I don't tong to worry you too much as this is just my opinion but I think you will need to work fast here. If you are ever in doubt about any issues with a purchase I suggest you always contact EBay for advice first.   ... View more

If your sold items have been paid for the payment will always show in your PayPal, as for any pending payment you have to wait  until payment  is cleared before sending any items.  Sometimes new members are targeted with fraudulent payments so always wait until you get the ok from Paypal before sending ... Hi   Sometimes it can take a while to appear in your account, give it another hour or so then log back into your PayPal account to see if it's there, also you should receive an email saying "you've got funds" from PayPal or words to that effect. Hope this helps   ... View more

Hi Eyesight98   No I didnt get my money back in the end which was disappointing as it was the sellers mistake not mine, but what was also disappointing was that I contacted Ebay Chat twice about this isue who stated It would have to be dealt with by a special team who investigate it, they didnt even respond.   If you are amicable with your seller you could explain what has happened and see what they say as they might not be aware, but if they say refund the money and they will send it again be very careful as I did my refund through a case so then I was tracked through the resolution team, I think its something to do with whether they press "personal" or "ebay items" when they send money through paypal, Unfortunately my seller wasnt very pleasant!   Seek advice either call Ebay or go to Live chat I hope you get a better response than I did also contact your seller to see if they are aware.   Let me know how you get on   Good Luck!!     ... Hi   I opened a case on Ebay and I recently received a refund from a seller  for item not as described. I have been charged a fee so therefore have not received my full amount.   I emailed the seller who said they paid through the bank (as Paypal was holding their funds until I receive my refund ) , so I explained because they paid through the bank I have been charged a fee which they should have incurred and if they wish they can pay me the rest so the case can be closed or wait until I get a response from Ebay of what to do to get the remainder back.   They have refused to pay any more stating the correct amount has been taken from there account(which it will do)   I wont close the case until I get all of my money back even though its not much its the principle of  it selling me fake goods. Hi First of all have you paid for other items with paypal or had any problems before? In my case I asked the seller to check their paypal account as it had been taken from my account so it should be in theirs and it was.   I f you havent paid for anything else by paypal maybe you havent finished the full process you have to go through in order to pay and receive payment.  Eg. as far as I am aware paypal deposit  a small amount of money to your bank account which you then have to enter in towards completion. I'm presuming you paid by paypal?   If so first of all check in your paypal account to see if the payment has been taken from your acount, if it has contact the seller and explain that to them and ask them to check in their paypal to see if the payment is there.   If the payment has not been taken from your account then it hasnt been paid and you should go to "purchase history" in "my ebay" and complete the checkout procedure.   Any problems get back to me and I try to help if I can. ...
