If you ever open a dispute for items not received never close it until you have received the items, some people will scam you and say close the dispute and I will refund you or send the goods etcwhich is what happened to you.  They know once a case is closed there is no proof they haven't sent the goods and because you close  a case it presumes you are happy with the outcome? I'm not sure ifyou will be able to get your money back now but keep contacting PayPal until you get someone more experienced in this matter. Good luck ... View more

If you are new to selling and have received the money from your sale EBay/Paypal will tell you it is ok to send the item under sellers protection, once you have sent the item and the item received Paypal will release your funds but it could take up to 21 days I think.  It protects buyers so people can't take people's money andthen not send the item! if the item is nt received by the buyer the money that is held will be used to refund the buyer? Unfortunately yes you are responsible to send it back using tracking at your costs, personally I think if the seller is at fault they should reimburse you with your return postage once they have received and are happy the item is damaged but that's just my opinion. It has happened to me before sometimes it's not worthlosing money on returning some items so I just sell them on trying to get my money back A GOOD seller will always reimburse your costs because at the end of the day it will benefit your DSR     ...
