what is this payment pending??

i have a payment pending. it says it will hold my money for 21 days or less depending on my ebay feedback. what if i get a bad feedback? do they keep my money and my item? i have a 100% feedback and i do not want to ship my item until i get my payment i dont feel comfortable...please help me?

If payment was already made you have the money but yea, that 21 day hold is a little too much, they say the money can be released early if, the buyer recieved the purchase and if they don't put in a claim against you or if you have a 100% feedback. I think that is so wrong i can understand holing for a day or 2 but 21 days. I to is waiting for my money to be released from ebay sells.

1. always ship with delivery confirmation

2. i've had them release the hold way earlier if the item was delivered and the buyer has not responded nor left ANY feedback. i've just had to call usually a week after it's been delievered and they release the payment right then and there while i'm on the phone. with the delivery confirmation they can clearly see the item has been delivered

and i DO believe in the buyer/seller protection it says they have 7 days to file a complaint or request refund or something to that effect. i'm not exactly sure you can look it up easily in the paypal help center
