i now know what was causing the error 10001 for me anyway, 1 of my 23 sellers had requested they need my telephone number to complete the transaction, i found this whilst paying 20 of the 23 all individually direct from paypal via email address,
i hope this may help someone as it certainly did my head in good luck.
