Login Issue

Hi, I'm able to get to the main front page of the PayPal website, I enter my login information, and it goes to the Logging In page which shows the loading graphic. *Just under the graphic it says that if this page doesn't redirect in 5 seconds, click a link.*

Whether I sit there letting the page load endlessly, OR hit the redirect link, nothing happens. I have deleted cache, cookies, temp files, I have visited the site using IE and Firefox, on multiple IP numbers from multiple computers.

I have business to attend to on EBay that is being held up by this error. Tonight, I was able to make it to the History page, and from there to the Withdraw to Bank Account page, but even then, I am unable to view the Account Overview page. It continues to appear to load endlessly.

Has anyone else had this issue, found a way to solve this problem? Thanks much for reading.

I can navigate all the top blue Tabs (Send Money - Request Money - Merchant Services - Products & Services - Community) less the My Account. All using the same https://www.paypal.com URL. There must be something BAD in the internal scripting for the My Account link.

Still can't login. Does Paypal monitor this forums?

I just spoke with a rep ...she had me clear my browser.  I then signed on the log in page as i normally do, put my password in and it still hung up.  I then signed on again on the sign up page and after typing my password I noticed the box below said "account" ...I changed that to "transactions"...got right in...they problem is the "account" link.  I have 2 accounts and only have the problem on one...but frankly changing it to transactions is no problem for me...just glad to be rid of the stress..give it a try

Be careful guys and gals.

I spent over $300 on ebay last night, had that much in my paypal account, but it did not deduct from paypal account it took all funds directly from my bank account.  Balance is still at $300 and not locked or anything.  So for those of you who run paypal off the same account you do your bills on, it may short your bank account if checks are out for utilities and such, causing an overdraft.  Luckily I checked bank account this morning and found $20 in it.  Almost cleared it all out, and even more lucky, all checks already cleared for bills.

So be careful!

I had the same problem but  I have the official solution!

Paypal is currently experiencing problems with the accounts overview page so simply:

1. Go to paypal.com

2. Under your login email and password change the "My account" to "My transactions" in the go to drop list.

3. Problem solved!

oh thankyou  such a simple solution i have had weeks of trying and phoning paypal so paypal get your act together and sort it not good for such a big company
