Item sent to wrong email address

I purchased a downloadable item that went to an old (closed) email address. I have changed my email address with Paypal; how do I get the item sent to my correct email address? Or should I just contact the seller and apologize for being inept?

Hi, I just had the same problem. Apparently if your email was previously on your Paypal account, Paypal will add and confirm the old address (without you having to be able to access it). Then your paypal account will have both addresses.

Just make sure you do it before the obsolete email address is used.
