Holding funds from sellers until the buyer leaves feedback is the worst idea EVER! Since when does Paypal become an authority on buyer satisfaction?? A smooth transaction is all that I wanted from Paypal. If they are going to hold funds, then they should make it very clear BEFORE you use them! Keeping my money in their account for 21 days is a HUGE disadvantage of using Paypal. Stick to transferring funds, not trying to be a satisfaction authority!

so i am suppose to take money out of my personal account to ship out items?
Yes - that's the way it's done by millions of other businesses.
If you aren't prepared to play by the rules, don't sell.

That is absolutely hilarious but trust me, you're wasting your time. You see howmany posts he has and you see how many you have. Don't even bother. You just kep on posting your thoughts, ideas and complaints and believe me, somewhere along the line you'll get satisfactory responses.

RIGHT>>> But the rules keep on changing!!!! And this last one is a beauty!!! I am busy enough shipping my items and don't need to do an extra step to get my money.. IE: Going to the PalPal site and listing the tracking number for every transaction I do... If you sell one or even just a few items per month.. this is not a big deal, but when you have a hundred or more a month, then it more than just a little extra work!

Did you give Ebay the tracking number
Does the tracking number show delivery.
Holds are usually released within 72 hours of the D/C showing delivery OR the buyer leaving feedback.

Well I find out this morning they I have payments being held but not because PayPal notified me. I had to find out the hard way. Why would a business not notify it's customer of such a vital thing as this? How sorry is this PayPal company?
I un-linked my eBay account from my PayPal account so they won't be able to use that against me and I stopped accepting PayPal on eBay. If someone wants to pay with PayPal I will send them an invoice and not have it attached to an eBay purchase and inform the buyer the item will not ship until the funds hit my bank account. What else can I do?

And PayPal has still not told me they are holding my funds. But now I see what prompted it. They got my BBB complaint today and then they hit me with the holds. They are trying to intimidate me into letting what they did wrong go. They even gave me a refund of a claim I lost because they did not accept the on-line verifiable proof of delivery that met their stated requirements. What joke of a company. I replied in the BBB case that I don't want them to try and make me happy, I want the to admit their error and charge the buyer for the item he received. I also told them I would not be intimidated by their bully tactics.
