Join the PayPal Community Forums moderation team in our weekly Community Chat on Tuesday, May 10th, from 4 to 5 PM CDT (2-3 PM PDT). 

Our moderator staff will be here to answer your questions regarding PayPal - or just to get to know you.    We also commonly host trivia questions, with kudos from the attending Moderators as a prize!

This thread will remain locked until the chat is open, so if you have a question you'd like to see answered by the community before then, please feel free to post a topic by clicking on "Post a Topic."  As always, PayPal customer service can be reached by clicking on "Contact Us" and selecting help via phone or email.

The Community Chat is now open and unlocked!  Our moderator staff will be available for the next hour to answer your questions about PayPal, get to know you, or just have idle conversation.  We do ask that posts follow the PayPal Community Help Forum Policy and the Forum Decorum Guidelines.

Once the session is over, this thread will be locked again, but you will be able to view the content in the forums.  This chat will be a regular feature every Tuesday from 4-5 PM CDT, so if you missed us this week, please feel free to stop by in the future!

Hi all! Welcome to the chat!

I certainly do have a Small Business story to tell! I had a great experience buying a zippered case for my eReader from WallabyBagCo on Etsy. I enjoyed the personal attention that I received, and she was fabulous about another custom order I made with her later. It made me feel good to buy something that she'd made specifically for me.

So...after reading some of my posts on the boards here, you may have noticed I have a...skewed...sense of humor.  So I have a couple of shout out's to small businesses.  InkWing Arts and CafePress are a couple of places I go to purchase apparel that really says something about my personality.  What they say is that I'm quite strange, but anyway.... great businesses right there.  Quick shipping, awesome selection, they accept PayPal (shameless plug :)).

Good call, Andy! I'm really a sucker for stuff sold on Etsy and Cafepress and sites like that. Venues that give creative folks the ability to turn their hobby into something lucrative are a total win, in my book!

100% agreed, Olivia.  Online shopping is definitely addictive, and sellers on Etsy and eBay certainly don't make it any easier!  Andy, those merchants totally fit your personality! 

A personal favorite of mine is Ironwind Metals.  I've been placing a yearly order with them since before I can remember (6? 7? years now - I've lost track!).  They've always provided superior service, excellent communication, and great shipping.  Oh... and the product is pretty good, too
