To start out our chat today, what is the weirdest food you've ever eaten?

I'll admit I don't have the most adventurous palate, but I have had rattlesnake and rocky mountain oysters before.

I honestly can't think of anything that I've ever eaten that's too outrageous.  Buffalo I guess...and Adrian. Rocky mountain oysters. Really? Ewww.

Cattle country delicacy.  I didn't find them all that.... enjoyable, personally.  I had menudo once too, that was super good!

Hi everyone!

I think the weirdest food I have ever eaten would be sea urchin. I was eating Omakase style and the sushi chef assured me that it would "taste like the ocean".

Well, he never specified which ocean!

I was not fond of the taste with that particular piece, but I persevered! I finished it and demolished the rest of the selections with no issues. I'm such a trooper.

Olivia - and yet again, another reason I dislike seafood.  Most sushi is great though!

Misty - gator sounds interesting!  I will have to add that to my list. 

Andy - we need to get you out of the house more.  Perhaps we'll have Olivia pack your lunch at the very least.

Have you guys ever tried Ethiopian cuisine? It's one of my favorites lately. If you're feeling adventurous, you should definitely try it. Get a combination plate so you can try all the different styles of wat, and bring a friend or two to help you eat it all.

I definitely want to try Ethiopian - I'm trying out lots of new cuisine lately.  I felt so bad that I only just ate Indian last year, but I don't regret that at all!  Now it's one of my favorites.

Adrian - Now I'm craving Indian food.  Next week's theme will not be food related.

Misty - Be adventurous! It's very tasty. It's kind of like having a bowl of chili, with different spices, and eating it with a piece of spongy bread.
