This week's Community Chat is now open and unlocked!
Our moderator staff will be available for the next hour to answer your questions about PayPal, get to know you, or just have idle conversation. We do ask that posts follow the PayPal Community Help Forum Policy and the Forum Decorum Guidelines.
Once the session is over, this thread will be locked again, but you will be able to view the content in the forums. This chat is a regular feature every Wednesday from 4-5 PM CST, so if you missed us this week, please feel free to stop by in the future! We want to get to know you!
Today's icebreaker question:
I ❤️ the 90s! Let's reminisce - what was your favorite thing about the 90s? Do you still harbor a secret love of Backstreet Boys? Milli Vanilli? Or even... Hammer pants? It's time to 'fess up to your ownership of that Wilson Phillips CD, and join us in examining the things we loved in the 90s!

Assigning no judgments of value to these things, just throwing them out there to get you started...
Hamster dance, Geocities, dancing baby, Twin Peaks, slap bracelets, Beverly Hills 90210, Quantum Leap, Xena, Furbies, Tickle Me Elmo, Groove is in the Heart..
That said, I did have a Geocities Homestead. 🙂

Oh, the 90's - not to be bland, but I still have a love for flannel shirts. That being said, when you talk about the 90's, I can't help but think about music. So many of the bands I listened to back then I'm not as fond of now, such as NIN, Nirvana, or even Metallica. I've replaced most of these bands with a growing addiction to classic punk, ska, and irish punk. I still harbor a secret love for Tori Amos, however.

Oh, I had my fair share of flannels back then.

I still have a NIN shirt that I remember wearing as early as 1992... and I listened to so much Tori Amos that I burned out. I listened to at leastthe same amount of TMBG and still love them, though.

Well, at least you could get a NIN shirt. One of the items I disliked about the 90's was so much of the shopping experience was still so localized or mail-based, and I don't know about you, but I severely distrusted most mail-order companies. Then again, I didn't have a credit card, so I had zero protection on checks or money orders, so the caution was well deserved. The decade that followed was, however, a massive online buying experience for me. Coincidentally, did make my first eBay purchase in mid 2000.

Hi Everyone -
When I think back to the 90’s, I think of tight-rolled blue stone washed jeans, high top shoes, big hair and T.V. show Friends.
Oh the good ole' days of just being a kid.....

I created a blog and set up a benefit account at the bank for him and have a verified pay payl account. Obviously we are not a 501c3...non-profit... what do i need to do to activate my donate button so people can donate? Thank You.
Jenn128, welcome to the community!
To create a donation button, you go to your Profile and then to My selling tools. You'll see a section for creating buttons. When you click into that, there's a drop down to determine the type for the button. Select Donation, and add in all the details. At the end, you'll be given the code to add to your website.
If you have any other questions, definitely go back to the other thread, as this one will be locked shortly. I'll post this answer on that thread as well so we can continue the conversation if necessary. 🙂
I hope this helps!
Olivia
