Can't link my card, keep getting an error.

Currently trying to link an FNB card with my Paypal and keep getting errors. Going through the Paypal site led to a rejected charge, Paypal never mentioned being charged to link our card to an account. Tried directly linking through the FNB app and got the "Something went wrong, please try again later." popup in Google Chrome on Android.

Any charge to confirm your card is refunded once the card is confirmed.

@kernowlass I can't confirm my card because it keeps being rejected by my bank and the transaction fails.

 

I'm in South Africa and see many complaints from other users with this same issue. I don't have $1 worth in Rand (ZAR) on my account if thats the fee to link my card and Paypal never mentioned card linking fees beforehand.

You can't add a card unless there are available funds on it to allow the confirmation process.

 

Checkout the links that I posted above for you which clearly states.....

 

When you confirm your debit or credit card, we'll make a small charge to your card. This charge and a 4-digit PayPal code will appear on your card statement within 2-3 business days. 

After you confirm your card, we’ll immediately refund the charge. Your card issuer will credit your balance within 30 days of the refund date.
