BDO Peso (ATM) savings acccount unable to be linked

Hi, I couldn't link my BDO Peso (ATM) Savings account to paypal and gave me the following message/warning:

"This account needs a little help to link it. Contact us and we can help with that, or you can link a different account."

My account comes with a debit card but i tried linking the bank account since that's what they recommended to me when I was opening my bank account. I haven't tried linking the debit card since I saw some posts having issues re-linking their cards after removing it. I tried messaging them through support but I pre-emptively made this post incase they take too long or don't reply at all.

Reason why I am making this post is I didn't see anything about BDO Peso savings account specifically, or atleast I haven't seen one yet. If this has already been resolved I would be greatful if you could link the post.

Welcome! Thanks for visiting PayPal's Community Forum. I can understand it can be a bit confusing when trying to link a bank on PayPal. Normally, the best option is to try linking a checking account. Depending on your locale, you may have the option to link a local or a US bank account, but you may run into road blocks linking a savings account due to how PayPal confirms the account with 2 small deposits. Most savings accounts have a limit on how many debits can be processed as well as the dollar amount that can be debited.
