I get an error when trying to link my debit card to my account. The error says: "This card is linked to another PayPal account. Please remove the other account or try a different payment method."
I don't have an other account and that message seems a little suspicious. I remember that i changed my account email at some point in time. Could that be the reason?

I can see from the error message you have sent that you are unable to add this to your account as it is linked to other PayPal accounts.
I would ask that you ensure you don't have this link to any old accounts and check this is not linked to any family members' accounts before trying to add the account again.
