Unable to Link Bank Account

For several days I have tried each day to link a Chase Business checking account to my personal PayPal account but can't.  First, when I try to link the account I immediately I get this error: "We were unable to link your bank instantly.  Please enter your bank information below."

When I follow that direction and try to link with the alternative "2 trial deposits" method, I immediately see this error: "Sorry, we are not able to process your request.  Please try again later."

I was able to change my only linked bank account a few days before without a problem.  I thought maybe I couldn't have more than one bank account linked, so I deleted the newly linked account I just added and tried again the next day to link the business checking account with the same result.  Just now I've tried to add back the personal account I had deleted and I'm now getting the same errors for that.  I've looked at other posts and none of the advice seems to explain why I am having problems.  Please help.

I am running into the unable to link bank account message as well. For some reason the bank account that I have been using for over a decade with paypal suddenly was removed for reasons that I do not know. I was able to link my debit card but not the account it is linked to.  I am unable to contact customer service at paypal since they are all not working and the text messaging is worthless. All I get is a loop of links that has nothing to do with the problem that I am having. Any clue when these people will be getting back to work or what the problem is with linking bank accounts?

We are definitely not alone! The only way I was able to make payment on my PayPal card was to call PayPal credit. This is after they had closed my account due to auto payments not going through due to the account unlinked issue on their site! If you have PayPal credit you may be able to call that number and get some assistance.

I tried 3 different methods to connect the checking account from US bank. First got a very generic, non-descriptive error message saying it "can't do it right now". Tried logging in to the bank directly or sending deposits to the account. The error happens as soon as I as provide the routing and account numbers.

Then I tried with the assistance of PayPal chat bot. It also failed but gave more specific error:

"The bank account you're trying to link can't be added at this time due to one or more security factors.
If you're using PayPal from a device you don't normally use, please try again later from the device you normally use to access PayPal."

Well, of course I am accessing PayPal from the browser on a computer I have been using for several years. That's it - no more help or resolution offered.

Even in this forum when I try to click to see what was the resolution in this thread it does not do anything. What a joke. I wish I would not have to use PayPal but the merchant is forcing me.
