Tried to be patient. Issue still unresolved within six months. This service is a joke.

Tried to be patient with PayPal. I honestly don't know why I even try to use this service anymore. Unreliable, rude, unhelpful. That's what I would describe the PayPal customer service experience. 

 

Six months of waiting, and my issue still hasn't been resolved. Link my bank account! It's not that difficult, and I know this because a customer service rep helped me link my account yesterday only to find out it's mysteriously been unlinked yesterday without my consent OR knowledge. I've been having trouble linking my bank account since January this year. SIX MONTHS is enough. I can't believe it takes hours for a rep to even reach me, much less confirm anything with the service. I kind of hope that once I send a message to a rep, they'll stick with me throughout the process. How am I supposed to send and request for money when I don't even have the functionality for it? 

 

And before I get linked to a series of nondescript pages detailing "how to link your bank account," I'm not happy with these answers. I've tried those avenues. For six months. I was asked "why I needed to add money to my PayPal account" which I thought was quite an invasive question. Still, I was unable to confirm my bank account. 

 

I've tried everything, and I've tried to be a good user to PayPal, but my patience is stretching rather thin, and this company is offering no help or attention to my issues. This is perhaps the worst service I have ever engaged with.

Might not like this answer either but try linking another bank account. Maybe something’s wrong (incompatible?) with that bank you’re trying to link. 🤷
