Problem with VISA card activation

I tried to add the security code (3 digits) to activate my VISA card but it states that the code is wrong. Try it again. It should be noted that I usually use my card for my business without any problem. Can you please let me know what is wrong here?

Sorry but do you mean you are trying to confirm your card having added it?

If so the 3 digit code has nothing to do with it, check the link.

I used this card regularly for many years until I got a message "You have almost reached your sending limit" from Paypal. This means that I have to verify my card again to increase my sending limit to send more money. I add the security code (my card has 3 digits) to the "4-digit code" to activate the card but it says: The code is wrong. Try it again. Therefore, I do not know what to do. Can you please help me? Once you have added and verified a card then you don't have to do so again.

And you can raise your limits as long as you have a confirmed card or bank account linked.
