I got "We noticed that the owner of this account is a minor" after I've been working with PayPal for 10 years, with added a credit card with my name from day one.
How can I be a minor with 10 years account and credit card with my name from day one? Do you think I had a bank account and credit card when I was 7 years old or less?
Surprisingly, this limit popped over after talking with PayPal customer service about a problem in one of my transactions.
Now, after 10 years I officially hate PayPal and will never use it again. But I can't close the account due to the new limitation.
How can I delete my account for good without resolving the limitation, I just don't want to use PayPal anymore for everything

The point may be were you a minor when you opened your paypal account?
If so then even if you are over 18 now it would still be an illegally opened minor account once paypal saw you opened it underage, if that is what you did?
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Sounds odd, if you can't resolve the limitation then your only option is to get back to customer services (phoning is best...dependent on what country you are in), and explain that you were not a minor and ask them to lift the limitation and then you can close your account.
Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.
1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

I can resolve the issue, but I refuse to send my personal documents for account deletion. I will attempt to contact support once more.
