My card is linked to a deleted account

A long time ago, paypal suspended my account. I've lost the access and made a solicitation for them delete it. Well, the suport told me the purged account is gone, but i keep having problems to link the card to this account, cause it says the card belong to another account. How to solve this problem?

I understand your concern about adding a card. Please note that you can only link one card to one PayPal account. If the account has been deleted/closed, you won't be able to remove financials from the PayPal account. In this case, you would need to contact customer services through the available contact options on our website for further assistance.
