How do I add an Icelandic bank account?

I'm based in Iceland, and I'm trying to add a bank account. Pretty sure this should be possible, but when I click "add bank account" I only get the option to add a US based account. Any idea why that is and how I can add an Icelandic one?

You may not be able to, not all countries can add local banks in their country to their Paypal accounts, in which case you would need to add and confirm a debit or credit card instead.

You can however add a U.S bank account (not card) to 'most' other countries paypal accounts. This is because paypal is a U.S company and so allows this.
