Debit Card Linking

Hi, I can't seem to link my BPI debit card. I've visited the branch and they said my card is eligible to be used for online payments and is eligible to be linked on PayPal. However, when I try linking it on PayPal it keeps saying that it was declined.

Does the billing address of the card match your paypal account address?

Are there funds on the card to enable card verification?

Is it a card paypal accept?

• ensure that this card is not added to any other PayPal accounts. 
• log in to your PayPal account using the PayPal Website rather than the App when attempting to add your card. 
• Do not use any VPN's while trying to take this action.

Hi, yes the billing address matches my PayPal account address. I've also made sure of the following: - There are funds on the card - It isn't on any other PayPal accounts - I've used the website instead of the App - I did not use a VPN

ok then......

'This card is not accepted. Please use a different card.' means that Paypal are getting a denial message from your bank when you are trying to add the card. When you add a card or update the details Paypal charge a temporary amount of $1.00. If this is not approved the card cannot be added. If you keep getting this message then call the number on the back of your card to check the issue with your bank. If the Visa you are trying to add is virtual or issued online you would need to try another card.

We have the same issue , linking my BPI epay debit card.  Have you been able to link your card already?

Hi! Yes, I have. It looks like you'll have to go to the BPI app > Card Control > Click your card > Make sure international access & e-commerce access is enabled as it is a feature of BPI cards that when it is disabled it'll reject all transactions.
