Balance wiped out

Hello, I have recently been completing online focus groups and thwy have paid us through paypal. I had a balance of $100 in my paypal wallet and I go to check my paypal account today and it says "$0.00 balance" I have NOT chosen to cashout, i have NOT used my PayPal balance for any purchases, I have NOT transferred the balance to any account, and all of my activity to my account has been labeled as "completed." The money is not in any of my bank accounts, and anytime I purchase something through PayPal I use a credit or debit card NEVER my paypal balance. Can someone please explain why my $100 from my paypal wallet is missing now? Help help help!

Unless you have selected a balance account then the funds may well have been auto-transferred to your bank account, if so allow a few days for them to show up.
If that is not the case then contact customer services to check it out for you?
