why credit card payment received is pending

I sent an invoice out payment was made via debit card and payment shows pending. Why?

Pending on your account, the senders account or both accounts?

Is there a timer or flag etc by the payment?

How do you know how they funded their paypal payment, did you check with them?

Sure its pending and not on hold?

Are you new to selling?

What country are you in?

What paypal account type do you have?
