"Send only account" mode

Hello, I recently discovered that my paypal is a send only account type. I switched it to a business account thinking that would change it (I'm a freelance artist-based in Nigeria, that offers commissions so I thought personal would suffice until now). I've confirmed my email and my card as was asked of me. However I'm still unable to receive or make invoices. Not to mention people are unable to find my account (which I suspect to be a result of the "send only mode" my account is on). What can I do?

Pointless you having a business account as the option to receive Paypal payments is sadly not available in Nigeria.
You can only send payments for purchases funded by your (confirmed) credit card....that is why you have a send only account.

Paypal varies a lot country to country and can only offer the services that the banks / governments of that country allow it to offer.
There are quite a few countries unable to receive Paypal payments.

I keep seeing this as a reason but my country is still listed as one of the many that can hold transactions (send and receive) in PayPals' listed countries. Not to mention that I have received money before into my paypal. What's more confusing is that my account doesn't have any stated limit when I check.

Sorry but if that truly is the case then can I receive funds if it's from a secondary source? Example Fiverr, Kofi, etc as that was how I received funds last year.

If you don't believe me then read the 2 posts by the moderator Paypal_jon.

It also shows you are in a send only country on your countries home page + its been that way for the 12 years I have been helping on this forum.

Oh it's less I don't believe you and more so me just being confused. Honestly, I just realised I have never actually received funds from PayPal to PayPal directly that's why I asked about secondary sites like kofi, fiverr and others.
