Zettle needs a "cash" mode for offline transactions

ATTN Zettle programmers:

I should not NEED an internet connection to process a CASH transactions and print a paper receipt.

This should be able to happen in the standalone app with no internet connection.

Inventory can synchronize later when I am back on Wifi for those that track that.... and people that want an email or SMS text receipt could get it then as well. Just store it for later processing. I do not need you to "authorize" paper money.

MANY of us go to markets where coverage is spotty (or non existent) and forcing us to get a starlink or something is madness.

If you cannot make this happen, you are losing customers. I know for us this is not sustainable because as-is we ring up for a total then hit "cancel", which means we aren't tracking inventory... so why bother using Zettle at all? We will have to find another solution if this cannot happen.

Don't believe me? Just do a search for "POS system that can process offline" and you get results that tell you the following:

"Systems like Square, Lightspeed, Revel, and Toast offer robust offline modes, each with unique features tailored to different business needs. These systems automatically activate offline mode during outages, allowing for secure payment processing and data storage until connectivity is reestablished."

That means your competitors are processing CC offline/later and you are not even giving us a way to take cash!

Thanks
