Why do some charges made by paypal through a credit card are marked as immediate?

Some transactions are marked as immediate and are charged by my card immediately.

Sorry not sure what you mean, when I purchase something and fund it via paypal with a card then my credit card app shows the transaction pretty much immediately.

That is true in my account too but (they show up in my cc account immediately too) but in my country credit cards charges are are automatically applied to a bank account monthly (or at another convened interval) except those marked "immediate" that are charged immediately to my bank account. That way any card I use with Paypal becomes, de facto, a debit card.

Ah ok, then you would need to check with customer services in your country as to why that is happening.
