When do I get a refund from "family and friends" ? Refund proved

I sent money to a person. Used my debit card.

"family and friends" method

After a discussion about fees and some stuff, that person refunds the money.

He sends me a screenshot proving the refund. No problem.

The question is: When will I get the refund ? two days? a week ?

I understand your concern about the refund. All refunds will be sent back to the payment method of your original payment. If you've used your card to complete the transaction then your refund will go to your card. It may take up to 30 days for the refund amount to appear on your card statement. If you've used your bank account then the refund will initially go back to the PayPal balance before being auto swept back to the original funding source (bank). It may take up to 5 business days for the refund amount to appear on your bank account. Here's the link to know more. In general, if you have purchased some thing through Personal payment option, please know that Friends and family payments are not covered under PayPal Protection. Personal payments are not intended for the purchase of goods or services and therefore cannot be disputed.
