So I have sold some bits on ebay and the buyer paid me directly on paypal. The buyer is in Japan and listing said for buyer to arrange courier. I eventually ended up having to send Parcelforce. I went out of my way to accomodate even though it was a pain. Buyer pays paypal including the postage (£193.10 just for postage) and paypal put a hold on the payment till I have tracking number. Due to covid I am financially embarrassed shall we say (partner and 2 kids). Where am I supposed to find £193 from at this juncture. Talk about stitch you up, catch 22. I sold the stuff because I need funds. I have been using paypal for maybe 15 years without any issue as both buyer and seller. Anybody else had similar issues, is there any resolution to be had in this or future instances? Cheers
