The last 4 withdrawals from my PayPal account did not go to my bank account.

Hi, I'm new on the forum, although I've been using PayPal for 13 years. I've never had a problem with PayPal, but my last 4 withdrawals from my PayPal account didn't go to my bank account. Although I received confirmation from PayPal that the payment went through. The oldest withdraw was on October 11, i.e. 14 days ago. I called to the bank and they assured me that the problem must be on the side of PayPal or the payment gateway. I tried to solve it on PayPal through the "resolution center", but there they wrote to me without any explanation that it was not an unauthorized transaction and that the case is closed... I have no idea what to do. The money disappeared from my PayPal account but didn't reach my to bank account...

what I find really weird is KB was able to trace your transaction and make a statement about it getting sent back to their paypal account

I didn´t make it this far, I´ve been told very broad information how it might happen with incomplete bank account numbers and information that KB is not storing any unclaimed funds. It would make situation so much easier  to them if there was statement about temporary blackout of service in Cz that might occur in other countries. It gives off very suspicious vibe to me.

It seems, that there are many other people next to this forum...

Last info from papypal message centrum was, that i should wait "It is up to the bank to locate the funds within their system and add them to your account."

From info from other people here, KB actually giving a damn about finding our money. They simply refunded payment to CZ UNICREDIT bank, and all money siting on that account. And paypal has got cheek saying "it up to our bank....."

Also im decided to go to my BANK monday investigate circumstances with this **bleep**...g transfer.

 

Because, There are a lot of us in Czech, we still have a chance to publicy this PAYPAL fail in Czech media...

Paypal recently reported third quarter results, so maybe now things could be set in motion. No worthy response from the support, gonna try my luck asking on their Twitter profile.

I'm pretty sure Paypal see this as a huge reputation problem, which is why they haven't issued a warning, but since there is just so many Czech and Hungarian clients, they might be willing to cut their losses here, if the issue cannot be solved in time.

What happens then, if you have proof that PayPal sent a transfer from your PayPal account to your bank, in my case KB bank, and your bank provided you with the transfer that clearly shows PayPal has omitted the first 3 numbers of your account rendering it impossible for them to allocate the funds and then provides you with the account that it was shipped back to. What if then you have provided this information to 4 customer service agents (including PayPal account number) from PayPal with 1 of them admitting that there was some system errors in Czech Rebulic around October 19.2023. And finally what if there is absolutely no response from PayPal, even though from threads here on the forum, this has happend to dozens possibly hundreds of other poor souls. What then?

Hi, everybody!
I have the same problem. I have been using the service for 13 years and no problem. Now I have not received money to my mBank account in the Czech Republic also ! The bank wrote me that the prefix was not given and the money was refunded. So the problem is definitely on the side of PAYPAL !!! I am waiting for the solution of the problem !!!

Blah blah update from paypal customer service:

"

Depending on your bank, it can take up to 14 working days for the funds to arrive in your account. 
You may wish to contact your bank to confirm the funds were posted to your account. Contact us again after 14 working days from date of withdrawal if you are still unable to locate your withdrawal. We will then initiate a trace for these funds.
Please allow some time for the bank to process the transaction and if you do not receive your money after 14 days, please contact us right away and we will be able to help you out with this matter. 

I appreciate your patience and thank you for your help in making PayPal the safest and most trusted online payment solution.
