Refund to cancelled card

I have had a refund to a card that has been cancelled. I received an email but can’t see the money on my bank statement or PayPal. Anyone got any ideas how I can track where the money has gone? Thanks!

I understand your concern regarding the refund on the account. All refunds will be sent back to the payment method of your original payment. If the status of the refund shows as canceled, it is possible that the sender would have canceled it. In this case, you can contact the sender to find the reason for the refund cancellation.
