Refund issue and what is the credit receipt, and why shall I provide it?

I was trying to get a refund for the rent fee by submitting a case, however, I am not sure why PayPal asked me to provide the credit receipt which I quite don't understand, and submitted a wrong file that caused the case denied and closed. I haven't got my refund yet, what shall I do?

Hello @Anonymous_User,

Thanks for joining the PayPal Community! Welcome!

I'm sorry to hear that your recent case was closed. When a credit receipt is requested, that means that documentation/proof of a refund is needed. If you have an email stating that the fee was going to be refunded to you, then taking a screenshot of the email would work. You'd want to include the email address of the merchant within the screenshot. If it's a physical receipt, you'd want to take a picture of that. To see if you're eligible to open an appeal, please reach out to Customer Support here

I hope this helps you receive a refund!
