When I use my PayPal debit card and my PayPal balance is to low to cover the full payment amount, it will automatically pull from my checking account. Is there a way to turn this option off?
Welcome! Thanks for visiting PayPal's Community Forum. As of Sept 12, 2023, the process of automatically pulling from your back-up funding source has actually been discontinued. From that date forward, charges through your PayPal Debit card will not be approved without enough PayPal balance to cover the charge.
