***I am not seeking advice on how to contact customer support to access information which should be readily available. If that is the only contribution you have to offer, don't offer it.***
I receive almost daily emails from Paypal stating that a payment has been declined for lack of funds. None of these emails state what payment, to whom, for how much, etc. Nor is this information available in my transaction history, or anywhere else on the site or app that I and to look at this board hundreds of other users can find.
Why doesn't Paypal make this information, which they already possess, easily available to users? It would grant us the ability to better manage our accounts and finances, cut down on customer service time needlessly wasted giving customers this info one call at a time, and is just generally ethical and helpful. Whyyyy?
