I just created paypal for the first time and I linked my bank account. When I clicked to transfer money to my paypal the screen showed a IBAN starting with "DE". I transfered the money. The same website showing the IBAN said it would take 1-2 work days until the money was sent to my Paypal wallet. This has not happened yet. This was around 3 days ago.
Noteworthy is that I generally use a VPN which relocates my IP to somewhere in Germany. I had a VPN on during creating my Paypal account. I turned it of at the moment that I was about to transfer money to my own Paypal wallet. Still it showed a DE IBAN number and I assume that you just use German banks for customer transactions?
Another noteworthy thing is that I have 2 IBANS on the same bank account. After linking my first one, your website said the second one was already linked. I did transfer the €50 from one of my 2 IBAN's but although your website said it is linked too already it is not the IBAN I can see on my Paypal account..
Did you guys scam me or does the bank correspondance just take way longer than 3 work days?
I heard that paypal has potential to use as a payment method but at this moment I'm not happy how much trouble a simple (€50) transaction is giving me when first using your services.
I really hope you guys are legit and I look forward to see this issue solved!
