Hello PayPal Community,
I recently received a payment in US Dollars from the US to my Belgian PayPal account (without converting the USD), but I was charged a 5.38% commission.
I was surprised by this high fee and wanted to ask if there’s something I might have overlooked.
For the transaction, I simply provided my PayPal email address—no QR code was involved.
I would appreciate any insights or feedback!
Thank you.

International transactions incur cross border fees that are higher.
