I do understand your concern with this. Sometimes emails can be sent pretending to be PayPal from someone you are meant to be receiving a payment from. This is to get you to provide an item/service without actually receiving payment.
Please remember to never ship and item or provide a service without receiving the payment into your PayPal account. Always login to check. To check if the email is genuine, please review the information here.
If you believe the email is from PayPal but you have not yet received your payment, it could be due to a number of factors, for example if your email address is not yet confirmed. Please follow the steps here to confirm your email address.
