When someone sends a payment to your email address, we’ll send you a message or email letting you know you have money available. To accept the money, you’ll need confirm your email address. If you've already confirmed your email address, you can keep and use it if you have a PayPal Balance account. Once you transfer your funds to your personal account, you can follow the steps listed here to close your old PayPal account.
