Getting the message: "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again" in sandbox testing.

Hello,
When testing the Paypal buttons in sandbox mode, I am getting the pop-up error message: "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again" (see screen capture below). From the user perspective, the transaction failed, but I do see a successful transaction in my PayPal account.
Any ideas how to solve this?
