Urgent Assistance Needed for Held Funds Dear PayPal Community Support, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance regarding a recent transaction on my account. A friend sent me a payment, which was not intended for a business transaction. Unfortunately, the funds are currently on hold, preventing me from withdrawing them. I kindly request your support in releasing the hold on these funds as they are crucial for my current needs. It appears that my friend mistakenly selected the option for selling goods instead of a friends and family transaction. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your assistance in resolving the issue. Thank you.

I don't think you have the friends/family option in your country so all funds received are treated as payments for goods /services.

If you are new to receiving funds you may be subject to the new seller hold.

You are posting rubbish. The friends/family option is NOT available in the country the original poster is in so all funds sent are sent as goods/services.

Paypal will not over-ride that as it is a standard in that country.
