Direct Debit PayPal Australia on Bank Statement

Hi

On many of my transactions on my bank statement it now just says 'Direct Debit xxxxxx PAYPAL AUSTRALIA' instead of giving any transaction details as to where the payment went to.

It means I can't track my expenses easily.

Is there any way to change this?

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post!

I do understand your concern with this. The message/code that appears on your bank statement differs from merchant to merchant. Merchants can choose the message/code appears on their customers bank account. PayPal cannot change this I'm afraid. 

To track your online payments, this can be done by checking your PayPal Activity page. All the details will show there.
