Can't make payment, keep getting an error

 I am having the same problem.  Bought items from USA, I go through the whole PayPal process, even confirming that I am genuine, then when I click "SUBMIT PAYMENT", the receiving company states that there has been a "PayPal Error". I have been with PayPal sine 2003 and put thousands of pounds through it.

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I can understand how it can be a bit frustrating not being able to make a payment. Have you tried the steps in this Help Center article: Why was my payment declined? 

If those steps don't end up working, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Support teams for assistance.
