BillPay (property taxes) not working

I'm attempting to use BillPay to pay my property taxes. I've had no issues finding my county and entering my account number twice (the only requested info). However, when I try to pay, I only get an error message: "Things don't appear to be working at the moment." I am using a credit card and I'm only sending $1 (to confirm that it's applied to the right account before I pay the whole bill). I've done this with several other bills and had no issues. Is there any way of knowing what the problem might be?

I understand you're unable to pay your property taxes through BillPay, and I'm sorry to hear that. A great Help Center article you may find useful is: Why was my payment declined? In addition to the troubleshooting steps listed in this article, I recommend clearing your cache and cookies or trying a different browser. If you still can't make the payment, please do not hesitate to reach out to Customer Support

I'm also facing exactly same issue, it is not taking me to select the payment method after entering the amount it is thowing same error message like "Things don't appear to be working at the moment", tried to reah customer service few time but never resolved. I'm trying for 3 weeks still same error all the times.
