I lack a small amount on my credit card to complete a payment, and if a friend sends the missing part and it ends up on my balance, am I still able to complete the payment? So if I lack funds on my credit card, will the system take the rest from the balance, in order to complete the payment/purchase? Edit: I am from Serbia. Sorry that I forgot to set that.

You haven't added your country to your profile (so we can see when we hover over your username) or said in your post which country you are in so unfortunately we can't advise.
Paypal varies a great deal country to country so you need to tell us where you are on this worldwide community forum.

Have you marked your balance as your primary funding source for that transaction?

Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > second down click on update next to your preferred way to pay and put a dot in one of the options listed.

And are the funds in your balance in the correct currency that the seller can accept.

If so then you should be ok to use your balance as your primary funding source and then paypal should take the remainder from your back up funding source. BUT check that that is what will happen on the final page before you click to pay.
