missing payment in activity

The money were taken out of my bank account but the payment is not showing in my paypal account activity, the seller didn't receive the money and I have an email from pay pal telling me that the transaction didn't go through, but where are my money?

Check with your bank, if paypal and the seller did not receive the funds then your bank should be able to recover them.
