how to verify if transfer was provided through transaction id?

hello, i want to ask if is possible somewhere to check transaction id from payer if transfer was provided, because he is telling me the payment was provided but i have not money received on my account. is possible that the money is somewhere stucked? or it need to take some time?

Welcome to the PayPal Community! 

 

 

When you receive a payment from PayPal, you will receive an automatic email to let you know you have been paid. You should also see this payment in the Activity section of your PayPal account. 

 

It is possible that the payment may have gone on hold. For some additional information on payment holds, please see: https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/article/faq1987

 

Also, please ensure the sender sent this payment to an email address that is registered and confirmed on your PayPal account. 

 

Lastly, was your account in a negative balance? If your account has a negative balance and you receive a payment, this payment will go towards recovering your negative balance. 

 

If you have not received an email from PayPal confirming you have received a payment, this payment was not sent. If this payment was for an item/service, please do not send the item or provide the service until you are happy that you have received the payment.
