error message when i tried to purchase

hi. i purchased thru online (via google chrome browser) using paypal (with my bank account linked). there was an error message that appeared saying the i should try again but the amount was debited to my bank account but i did not receive the goods from the merchant/vendor and no transaction/purchase history in my paypal account. what do i do? thank you so much

I'm sorry you're having trouble with a recent transaction. It sounds like the purchase may have been processed as a guest checkout. A great Help Center article you may find useful is: I have a problem with my PayPal transaction, but I can't find it on my PayPal account. What do I do?...If you have not received the item but the funds have been deducted from your bank account but you're still unable to file a dispute after following the steps in the article, you can contact the PayPal Customer Support team. Support is also available on Twitter by sending DM or a PM on Facebook. Support may also be reached by clicking 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal webpage.
